I cannot thank these guys enough! The service guys at Metter Ford went above and beyond to make sure the issues with my vehicle were corrected. Their service was timely, and the customer service was exceptional! They thoroughly searched until the problem was found, and checked in with me often throughout the process. Hands down one of the most dishonest dealerships I have ever had dealings with. Picked up an Expedition from them and after being told how they would take care of any issues had in the first few days of ownership we found otherwise. The truck didn't even make its first trip home from Metter to Guyton. A coil pack went bad and we noticed a transmission issue at highway speed. Attempts to contact the dealership that day were unanswered. The next day I was informed it was sold As Is. (The opposite of what I was told while writing the check...) I replaced the coil packs and plugs myself but had to get quotes to repair the trans issue. Locally it was a 2k$ repair. Larry at the dealership had me tow it to him so they could "help me out". Two weeks later and a quote double what I was quoted locally we had it towed back out of there. While there the service department told me everyrhing from " we didn't know your truck was here, we don't have the keys (they did and later found them), and our trans guy is busy".
As usual, I received unsurpassed service when I brought my Ranger in for an airbag recall. I was in and out in less than 45 minutes! I would highly recommend Metter Ford to anyone looking for a work or personal vehicle!
For the record, I was Not going to post a review but after more than a dozen spam emails I decided it was time. I have unsubscribed, asked nicely to be taken off the lost, and even filed a formal complaint against them. Still the emails come in, so decided to homer their request for a review.
All in all, Buyer Beware. If they won't let you test drive a car on I16 or the deal seems good. Pass on it and run.
At the end of the day they offered us a few hindered $ towards the trans and other repairs we had alreast done.
Great service at Metter Ford. They did right by me when I bought my truck, and again when I went back to have the AC checked. They took the time to trace down the issue to a relay, as opposed to just swapping parts until the problem was solved. I appreciated the extra mile they went to find the cause and correct it the first time. My thanks go out to Ben in service, who explained what they had to do and why they had to do it. Keep in mind that this was a used 2005 truck they'd taken in trade and i feel that they gave me the same level of attention that I would have gotten had I purchased a brand new 2017 F150. More than that, I can't ask.
My wife and I looked up on Metter Fords website the night before and picked the vehicle we wanted so the next morning we drove up to the dealership and met a great guy, saleman Eric, and test drove it and not long after that we were driving our New 2017 Ford Edge Titanium home.
